King’s League: Odyssey At IGF 2014

A belated post over here about Kurechii’s trip to the Independent Games Festival in China this year – a trip we’ve been hoping to go for, that really happened!

We showcased King’s League: Odyssey there in Shanghai, as a finalist for the 6th IGF China Awards.
It was the team’s first trip to any IGF event, and proved to provide great memories and experiences.

Our members there had the chance to numerous other indie developers in Asia, and also benefitted a lot from the insightful and inspirational conference sessions. As developers, the event had a lot to offer and was very fulfilling.

Not only did they return with precious experiences, they also came back with news of King’s League: Odyssey winning the Best Game award!

King’s League: Odyssey received the Best Mobile Game award at Casual Connect Asia Indie Prize earlier this year, and we were already very happy to be able to showcase as finalist. The team is honestly surprised and humbled to receive IGF China’s recognition for our efforts in King’s League: Odyssey, as the other finalists showcased very amazing games as well!

At the end of it all, we’re really thankful for all those who have been with us through the journey – family and friends throughout the game’s development, our players for their support, and the judges for recognizing King’s League: Odyssey!

Beyond that, Kurechii is the only Malaysian team so far to have made it through as a finalist and to bring back the grand prize! The recognition is a great motivation to us, and we will continue to work hard in hopes of bringing great games to players around the world.

To celebrate this milestone, our publisher and the team have decided to announce a limited time sale of $0.99. (That is more than 50% off the regular price of $2.99!)
The sale will start on Monday, November 10, 2014, available on the iTunes App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore – if you have yet to get a copy, don’t miss the sale!

Last but not least, thank you for being a part of Kurechii and King’s League’s journey! 🙂
